we, personnally, never saw Pyrrhopygopsis socrates West of the Andes ; on the 25 specimens figured on butterfliesofamerica only one has a label with "Panamá", all the others come from the Eastern Lowlands.
and, while we did not take a complete inventory, it seems that all the pictures on iNat (157 as of today) come from Amazonia, Guyanas and Brasil.
