wingspan : 33 mm
Potamanaxas tusca, Durango, las Juntas.
two points :
1 - Potamanaxas tusca is not a ssp of Potamanaxas latrea, because :
. both species fly together at least from las Juntas to Calderón, and
. their wingshape and wing pattern are completely different
2 - there would be two phenotypes ? because :
. our specimen from Durango is markedly different from those from las Juntas, and,
. it looks pretty much like a specimen on butterfliesofamerica that was collected in Santo Domingo de los Colorados (same elevation as Durango).
we need to get more specimens before speculating.
