but these specimens seem to be Heliopetes laviana laviana, a subspecies that is said to fly from the United States to Venezuela ; they're different from Heliopetes laviana leca, a subspecies described from Venezuela, and from Heliopetes libra (or laviana libra ?) a similar looking species from Brasil ?
