Perisama dorbignyi is not supposed to fly West of the Andes except in Southern Ecuador, Guayquichuma ; nevertheless we collected three near Buenos Aires.
wether it is East or West of the Andes Perisama dorbignyi never had much luck with its subspecies ; as a matter of fact, of our three specimens,
- two look like P. d. dorbignyi or P. d. mola (we do not see any difference between those two), and
- the third one looks just like P. aldasi, or P. dorbignyi aldasi (aldasi being the Guayquichuma subspecies or sp) ;
however, on the three specimens the HW green submarginal line is quite narrow - see individual variations .
