this Leptophobia eleone luca was collected on the Nanegal-Nanegalito road.
this species is very common in Ecuador Oriente and also in the central Andean corridor (Riobamba, Zhud, Loja, Yangana, usually between 2000 and 3000 m), this specimen is the only one that we know from West of the Andes and from such a low elevation.
