male and female on this page, as well as the first five specimens on the individual variation page, are light coloured, maybe their colour did fade over the years since 1970 ?
the last specimen was collected recently and it probably shows the actual color of this species, as evidenced by the live butterflies pictured at Yanacocha and on the Apuela road.
