in spite of the very poor quality of the picture, there is no doubt, this is Dismorphia arcadia, a surprise West of the Andes (los Cedros), and a new subspecies according to K. R. Willmott.
and more recently much better pictures, Nelson Apolo a male at Bella Vista and Holger Beck and Guy Broome females at Nono and Santa Marianita.
and, in the University collections in Krakow, we found two males collected in 2003 near Balzapamba.
